The Story Starts with

A soulful Golden Retriever who liked people more than dogs. He quickly became more than a pet; he was our kid. He had a humanlike calm, an easygoing spirit, and went along with all my wild ideas.
One Halloween, I tried to find him a costume for a local Howl-O-Ween contest and realized just how limited the options were. Every XXL was laughably too small. So, I improvised: jeans from the boys' section, a white tee, suspenders, and a plastic hard hat. Boston became the best-dressed construction worker on four legs, and from that point on, if he was going to wear something, I had to make it.
Years later, we added three more Goldens, Lucia, Franklin, and Frannie. I found a chic, stylish dog outfit online and thought, finally! But when I checked the size chart, I was right back at square one. XXL stopped at 60 pounds. That was the moment I knew it was time for something different.
That was the moment I thought, it's time for a change. I set out to build what I couldn't find: high-quality, minimalist, movement-friendly apparel made just for large dogs. I researched breed dimensions, partnered with ethical manufacturers, and tested every piece on real dogs.
I envisioned a brand that created beautiful, functional essentials made for large dogs, pieces with classic style, thoughtful fit, and enough quiet luxury for coffee walks, city sidewalks, and the dog who is absolutely part of your personal style. That vision became Folto Paws.
The Woman behind folto paws
Hi, I’m Jen, founder of Folto Paws. After more than 20 years in corporate leadership, I stepped away to build the brand I always wished existed for my own dogs.
I’m a lifelong dog lover, travel and fashion enthusiast, and I wanted Folto to combine thoughtful large-dog fit with an elevated aesthetic that feels like an extension of my own style.

BEHIND THE NAME
Inspired by folto—the Italian word for “thick,” evoking fullness, and abundance. Our name reflects the way big dogs take up space without apology: in your home, in your heart, and in your life. Folto Paws exists for the next generation of modern pet fashion…intentionally designed, confidently worn, and made exclusively for the big ones.

Our packaging is fully recyclable or reusable, crafted from paper and materials chosen for minimal impact and a refined look. We avoid plastic whenever possible and ship in small quantities to minimize our environmental impact and maintain high standards.

At Folto Paws, giving back is part of who we are. We support local rescues where every little bit counts, helping provide care, comfort, and love to dogs in need.
